A Delegation from Tehran Medical Science University Visited KUST

A delegation from Tehran Medical Science University, School of Dentistry represented by Assistant Professor Hossein Hessari, Assistant Professor Rezvaneh Hashemi, Associate Professor Mahdieh Moosavi, and Assistant Professor Mahya Hasanzade visited KUST on October 28th. The team was received and welcomed by Prof.Dr. Salahalddin Saeed, the President of Komar University of Science and Technology. Then a team from the Dentistry Department at KUST was led by Prof.Dr. Shanaz, Chairperson of the Dentistry Department who took the visitors on a tour at the dentistry building and clinic facility to show the new capacities of the department and to give a general overview of the steps that our students are going through starting from their first semester until the graduation.

The visiting team gave detailed suggestions about the future need and expansion of our physical and human resources. After the tour, a discussion meeting was held at Professor Dr. Shanaz’s office to explore the short and long-term collaboration opportunities between the two universities based on the needs and the capabilities of each side to create an effective and contentious integration in different academic sectors.
