Department of Dentistry Concludes Continuing Dental Enrichment Programme – Faculty Lectures

The Department of Dentistry at Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its Continuing Dental Enrichment (CDE) Programme – Faculty Lectures for Fall 2025. Launched with the aim of advancing professional development and fostering a culture of ongoing learning, the programme has now completed its full cycle of eight insightful and impactful sessions.
Over the past two months, distinguished faculty members from the College of Dentistry delivered a series of expert-led lectures covering a wide array of contemporary dental topics. These sessions provided dental professionals and students with opportunities to explore cutting-edge clinical practices, review important case studies, and deepen their understanding of innovative techniques across multiple dental specialties.
Reflecting on the programme’s accomplishments, Dr. Shanaz Gaphor, Chairperson of Dentistry, stated,
“This initiative exemplifies our commitment to continuous education and academic excellence. The collective expertise of our faculty has enriched the learning experience of all participants and contributed meaningfully to the development of dental practice within our community.”
The lectures were held weekly on Sundays at the E-Building Auditorium, adhering to an interactive format that encouraged discussion, collaborative learning, and the exchange of clinical perspectives between attendees and speakers.
