Komar University’s Dental Clinic holds international workshop on advanced technology and digital dentistry

On November 20, 2022, Komar University’s Dentistry Department, in collaboration with Vanest dentalcare, held an international workshop on advanced technology and digital dentistry. In the beginning of the event, the faculty members, students and guests observed a moment of silence for the victims of the gas tank explosion in Slemani. The event then started with opening remarks from Professor Dr. Shanaz Mohammed Ghafor, chairperson of the dentistry department. After that, a lecture on Implementation of Dental Microscope in Endodontics was given by Dr. Ubaydah, a faculty member and the coordinator of the Dentistry department. This was followed by a lecture on Digitalization in Orthodontics by Dr. Zryan Jaza, the chairperson of Dental Technology department. Later, Dr. Sean, Medit sales manager in the UK and Ireland, presented a lecture on the application of intra oral scanners.
