Digital Dentistry Scholarship Program at KUST

To enhance the academic recognition of our senior dental students, from July 15th to 16th, 2023, Komar
University of Science and Technology conducted a digital dentistry scholarship program. This program
was a collaboration between Komar University of Science and Technology, Digital Dental Academy, and
Alsharaa Company. The aim of the program was to provide professional and high-quality training to
senior dental students and improve the skills of students in digital dentistry. During the workshop,
students were trained on how to effectively use digital intraoral scanners and the associated software.
These skills are essential for dentistry graduates as it increases their chances of being hired by dental
establishments such as clinics and laboratories. By acquiring the necessary qualifications, the students
would be able to enter a profession that is currently facing a significant shortage of skilled professionals
in the dental market.
